Direct Mail & Brochures
Print Advertising with Marketing Team West

Direct mail is still viable in today’s market as long as it’s highly targeted and you work with someone who can get your print, mailshop and postal costs at an affordable level (like us!). For retailers that have a local, highly defined market, Every Door Direct Mail from the postal service allows you to mail right into the neighborhood for only 16 cents a piece for postage. We have done some very unusual sizes that really stand out in the mailbox. We’ve had great success with newsletters including an offer. Marketing Team West

You should figure a 2–3% response rate generally with your direct mail, if targeted appropriately and if you have a compelling offer.  So, let’s say you are mailing to 10,000 people…you can expect 200 folks to respond. Figure out how many you can convert to sales and what the average sale would be, subtract your costs and you will get an idea of whether or not this would be profitable for you.

Most people don’t know that direct mail and direct marketing (including TV "1-800 sales" and website clicks) are unique to other forms of marketing due to the “measurability” factor. In other words, you can measure the profitability of a Marketing Team Westcampaign, or the visits to your site, unlike newspapers, TV commercials and other mass media.

We believe a good customer list is worth it's weight in gold, even at today’s gold prices. There are tactics that will encourage a customer to give their address and email information willingly.

By building an email opt-in list (and not pestering) you can save thousands of dollars with an online newsletter for instance. Online (and mailed) newsletters are great for establishing yourself as an expert, keeping an ongoing rapport with your customers, or to explain more complex products and services.
